Heba Hashem is an Arabic and English-speaking freelance journalist based between Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Niagara Falls, Canada. Her passion for the media industry was first ignited over 16 years ago and since then her printed work has been prolific.

After which, she spent time embedded in PR agencies working with clients like the world-class hospitality group Meydan, and on projects such as the globe’s leading equestrian race, the Dubai World Cup.
And with a keen eye for what makes a good story and headline, Heba’s knowledge of global editorial standards, sound communication through soundbites and the value of perfect translation, have proven invaluable throughout her career.
Heba holds a B.A. in Communications & Media Studies from Middlesex University and a B.A. in English-Arabic translation from Cairo University. She is a member of the esteemed Chartered Institute of Journalists in the United Kingdom since 2009.
